The Female Models

The professional female models included for Mini-Me patterns in this book were models who worked on the development of How to Make Sewing Patterns and How to Make Custom-Fit Bras & Lingerie as well as some costume projects.

They were selected for this book because their bust, waist, and hip measurements are within 2" of the PGM-8 commercial dress form which is also included.They illustrate how widely women's shapes can vary within a limited size range.

The Mini-Mes of these models can be used to explore whether a design will work on a variety of women, as is required in the ready-to-wear (RTW) industry, or whether they are more appropriate for a custom-fit bespoke garment for a specific individual.
